Squad One Dojo

After tying up the loose ends of the beginning of the proficiency tests Setsuna made her way to the squad one dojo. It was a large building filled with training equipment. On the walls hung portraits of five captain commanders through out history. The first one was of an elderly man, with a long bushy mustache and a long white heard. Underneath his picture was an inscription of his name Masaharu Morimoto. The next image was of a beautiful young looking woman named Goriko Yamadaichi. She had long black hair that seemed to flow forever. Next was a man named Toshimatsu Makutaishi, he looked to be about middle age with a strong square face and thick black hair. The next two portraits were of Setsuna, and then Eri.

Setsuna remembered all three of the previous captain commanders. She was just a young recruit when Commander Morimoto died of old age. He was a strict old man, with no sense of humor. She was a seasoned lieutenant when Commander Yamadaichi stepped down from her position due to illness, and she was a senior captain when Commander Makutaishi died because of his ignorance. This building held so much history within it. This building was as old as she was, if not older. More shinigami had trained beneath this roof than she had ever seen. So many memories, so much nostalgia.

Setsuna took her high heels off near the door of the dojo, so as to not scratch the floor. She gingerly made her way across the slick bamboo floor in her stocking feet. She smiled and saw Saskia already there. How long had the girl been waiting here?

"Oh, I see you've already made it. The tests will begin as soon as everyone arrives."

Setsuna smiled and sat on her legs on a mat off to the side lines of the room. This is where the judging captains would grade the eager vice captains. This is where their fates would be decided.

And with a blink, Deux would be standing in the middle of the room, a confused look on his face. He didn't quite know what exactly was gonna happen, he couldn't even remember who told him to be here but alas Deux was in the room with the head captain. "Uh, Good... I'm gonna be honest I don't know what time of day it is." Deux said pausing as he tried to get his bearing on the world.

Taicho Ennremmen would arrive, yawning... holy shit he's not last for once, that's got to be some kind of miracle. He immediately finds a place to sit down and sleep until the important stuff starts.

Saskia turned and saluted as Setsuna walked through the door. "Head Captain! Uh.. yes... I didn't really have anything to prepare so I uh... came straight here." she said with an awkward nod. She turned and suddenly noticed that.... thing... in the room. "O-oh. Deux, you're here too?" Hrm... it wasn't a captain... so was it here to become one? "Are you taking your captaincy test too?" She asked before noticing someone else enter. "Captain Ennremmen!" she said with another hasty salute. "Good morning, sir!"

"Oh hiiiii Saskia." Deux said with a friendly wave. Yes, I'm here for a test thingy. I just want the robe, they look pretty."

Onihime walked into the Dojo, looking over to the Head Captain. "Good morning, Soutaichou!" she said as she bowed before taking her seat. Looking to the others, she saw Enn, Saskia and someone she had yet to meet. 'So, these are the new candidates for Captaincy?' she thought to herself.

Setsuna chuckled at Saskia. She liked this girl, she found her humorous. The other, Deux, seemed a bit...off, but apparently he was skilled.

"Well, it's nice to see the two of you being on time. Tardiness, is never acceptable."

Setsuna then noticed the captain of squad 13 come in, good he was on time. Without so much as a hello he flopped on the floor and went to sleep. Setsuna narrowed her eyes at the man, such rude behavior would never do.

"Captain Ennremmen, it would be very wise of you to sit up straight, and awake."

Setsuna's tone was sharp. It was disgusting for a captain to have such blatantly disrespectful ways.

Then, the captain of 7th walked into the room. Setsuna wasn't sure about having a demon in the ranks, but she was a breath of fresh air compared to the slouch sleeping in the corner.

"Welcome Captain Onihime. It's a pleasure to see you again, even though it's only been a few hours."

Enn opens an eye a crack, looking at the new Sotaicho for a second. "Alright, if you want. Don't get much sleep thanks to Mao, but I'll stay up if I have to." He straightens up his posture, stretching some. "Apologies for attempting to be at my best when I need to be doing testing."

A soft knock was heard on the side of the door.

Saiban stood there, in standard shinigami gear. He looked around quickly in the room, identifying everyone that was present.

He bowed his head to Enn. "Enremmen-taicho" he said, aknowledging his presence.

Then he looked at Onihime. "Xiana-taicho" he said once more while bowing his head again.

"Much pleasure seeing you again, after such a long time away"

He then walked in front of Setsuna, and got down on his knees.

"Fujihana-soutaicho-sama, I will be ready when you are" he confirmed.

He then stood back up and walked towards the other two prospects for captaincy that were there. He was surprised he had not seen them before. He could care less what division there were trying to lead, at this point, Saiban had gotten a second chance, and it's either he seise it, or he dies. As simple as it gets... He did tho looked at the man and the woman and acknowledged them.

"Greetings, shinigami's, I am Saiban Rukokai." he said blatantly.
